Didnt see the fine print or know that blue tooth can only play one speaker at a time but can control 5 lights to turn on or off. I picked up 4 and find out the hard way. Good for 3 year old kids.

Been using for 4 months now with no problem. 5 bulbs, 1 sphere, and 3 candles all working great. Love the product and the app dose what I need it to. Apple Watch support would be nice though.

Terrible update guys. You took away the music function and not only that, the candle effect still does not work. Please fix this as I dont want these anymore

Please put the security feature back. Its very useful to me. The timer does not turn it on and off multiple times that make it seems that someone is home. The randomness of the security feature is most effective to make it seem that someone is present in the room.

This update broke all attempts to connect to my bulbs. This app worked for the first couple of days and then became completely useless. None of my bulbs are discoverable most of the time and thats even after I reset them! It gets you really frustrated when you have to get out of bed to turn off lights that are only controlled with this really bad app. When they work, which is rare, they are ok but the app makes you want your regular lights back almost daily.

The App is well simply put terrible. The security feature was not easy to program and now they removed that feature. I cant program on and off times which is the most basic of features. Look else where.

The update turned my playbulb into a red light bulb. It no longer applies any effects or changes colours whatsoever (making the product effectively bricked). I attempted to contact Mipow three times via email since the app updated to see if I could revert back and use the bulb again. No contact. Very bizarre that an update would break the product...Ive only owned the product for three months and expected at least a year or more use out of it - not to have the manufacturer break it. Poor rating reflects current status of unit.

No music functionality (contrary to the screenshots) and the candle effect doesnt work.

It seems to work when installed from fresh. (I am using PlayBulb originals, rather than PlayBulb Mesh.)

I started off buying there sphere but was very hesitant due to the bad reviews but I figured it was worth a shot ... I am glad I did ... I then bought there bulb and after enjoying that I added 3 candles and I love the group blow out function ... Definitely room for more customization but no complaints here ... Love all there products along with an app that works ... Thanks!

The speed has improved a little bit, but on choosing a colour I can no longer choose a colour in the middle which would usually be a really light blue... ;(

Since the last update the app wont connect to the bulb. and its stuck on blue...

My desk setup use to be my keyboard / mouse, with white LEDs now with this new update my Playbulb Comet cant go in the middle of the color wheel! Which would be white! I really wish they would fix/ patch this because it is a completely unnecessary change.

Was adequate when I first got it a few weeks ago. Worked as advertised but could easily include better automation. Suddenly today the app no longer connects with my 2 lights. Wont connect to or control either one.

Stupid that there is no repeating timer to light the bulbs on everyday. Going to manual on/off switch is absurd. I wanted to put them in the garden but then its impossible. Please improve the app ! Tks

This product would be great if it atleast worked half the time.

The app itself is terrible to use. Its not easy to get precise colors within the app. It should allow the user the ability to save colors and fine tune colors. The user can do neither of those things. Want to set a timer for the light to come in at another brightness, forget about it. The light strip always comes on at full brightness. You have to set a second timer for a minute later the dim the lights to the desired setting. Want to set repeating timers, say to turn the lights on at a certain time each day, tough. Timers must be manually set each and every day. The hardware itself is even worse. Its only a month old and has already stopped communicating with the app entirely. I have to leave the lighting strip on all day and all night, now. The lighting strip had also does not produce an acceptable white light. I will never buy another Playbulb product again.
